Herewith the first blog. New to this game, haven't really got the foggiest what I am doing just yet.
So, let's keep this short and simple.....
Have survived not only 2013 as a whole but also and especially the Christmas and New Year (always a difficulty for some reason)....relatively unscathed and intact. Horoscope talks of change and development in the year ahead.....this is optimistic. World events often inspire less optimism lately ...- bombs going off everywhere, journalists arrested in Egypt for doing their job, new Australian government dismantling policies without apparently pausing for breath or thought...hmmmm will need some additional doses of that previously mentioned optimism in 2014 methinks.
To friends and acquaintances who may happen upon this blog, my very best wishes for the new Year.
